Hannibelle, the artist from Esslingen dreams of travelling through Europe in a sunny yellow bulli, discovering new places, drawing and enjoying life. We like that and her artworks in any case. Find out more about Hannibelle in the interview.
wijld:
What are you studying?
Hannibelle:
In about a year I’m going to finish my current studies in primary school lectureship (German and art as main subjects) and I would definitely like to study art afterwards - whereas I am not yet sure about the definite course of studies.
wijld:
If I go to a party with you, then ....
Hannibelle:
... you don't end up in a posh club, but at a festival in the dunes.
wijld:
How would you describe your style?
Hannibelle:
I would describe my scribbling style as filigree, yet not delicate. Each line is made by me by hand with pencil, paper and a lot of love. I mainly work with black fineliners - sometimes also in combination with watercolours.
wijld:
What is your philosophy?
Hannibelle:
Be realistic, plan a miracle.
wijld:
What are you currently working on?
Hannibelle:
I'm currently working on my graduation exhibition for my studies. My specialization here lies on non-representational paintings, drawing and photography. A fourth and last specialisation was now added in the winter semester
wijld:
You design for wijld because ...
Hannibelle:
Briefly, the concept is just brilliant ;)
