Maura Cruma in a wijld interview...

Maura Cruma in a wijld interview...

The young Italian designer Maura describes art as her “ticket to escape from reality”. She finds the inspiration for her artworks while traveling, as she loves nature as we do and thus, she takes every free day she can get to spend time in the nature and outside of her studio. „I really find peace walking in the woods, it’s best when I'm alone.“
We are very happy to work with this young artist & could gain even more insight into her world…

wijld:
What would you be if you weren’t an artist?
Maura:
I would probably be a psychologist. I like to help people overcome their problems in life.

wijld:
While working: loud music or silence?
Maura:
I concentrate better with loud music. It can be rap, classic, indie ... it really depends on what I'm drawing. However, I need silence if I'm with another person because I can't speak while drawing. Then it is like as if I'm in another dimension.

wijld:
What do you need to be happy?
Maura:
I don't really need a lot to be happy. Nature, books, art, music and the people I love. Because for me it's true that "happiness is real only when shared".

wijld:
What does art mean to you?
Maura:
We live in a world full of art and often we don't even realize it. Art is life, is everything!

wijld:
Coffee or tea?
Maura:
Coffee of course! It is the best support when I draw until late at night.
