Nadine Migesel in a wijld interview …

Nadine Migesel in a wijld interview …

Nadine studies sustainable design in Cologne. But she grew up in a village of 350 people close to Stuttgart. This place is still one of her favourite places: "I associate my childhood with it and I still like to come back to it. Forests, rivers and Mum's mashed potatoes are still tempting," she tells us in an interview. Find out for yourself what places the German-Arabic artist still counts among her favourite ones.

wijld:
Your best quality?
Nadine:
Stress resistance (according to my roommate Lena) and an unshakable will to make the world a little bit better ;)

wijld:
What was your greatest success?
Nadine:
In terms of design, it was the app design for the tenth anniversary of the German Sustainability Award. Personally, the trip through India with my mom last year.

wijld:
What do you need to be happy?
Nadine:
Tea, a loud sound system, fresh flowers and sunshine.

wijld:
What super-power would you like to have?
Nadine:
Either speak all languages of the world with no accent or be able to do magic. Then I would constantly invent new magic formulas and conjure up world peace in no time at all, creating a rocket that could fly through the entire universe and eliminate diseases. And don't forget: tickets for the first row at every concert of the Austrian band "Bilderbuch".

wijld:
... and what are your favorite places?
Nadine:
My fresh-covered bedclothes, because it is the fluffiest place and smells wonderfully. I actually have the best ideas in the morning when my head is still heavy in the pillow and the thoughts are still with one foot in the dream world and with the other in the new day. Or at night, just before falling asleep when the events of the day pass and my system is shutting down: give up control at least to a certain extent. Here the most beautiful and unusual ideas come up. I also love Tel Aviv because it's the city where I've felt most comfortable so far. Many different people come together, the start-up scene is growing, the gay scene is fighting against intolerance and it is the only bubble that creates a space for acceptance, regardless of religious or political tensions and parties. The feeling of personal freedom I felt there the most.
