SMUCK’s signature is actually black and white and her style is straight and minimalistic. But due to a big demand the artist experiments from time to time also with colorful themes. We are happy to show you both styles and are glad to introduce her to you.

How come you are an artist now?
SMUCK:
Since childhood I loved to design, paint and do handicrafts. So after graduation it was clear that I had to study design. Now I’m a media designer and work , apart from SMUCK, as an art director and stylist for photo productions. SMUCK is a project with personal importance to me and sometimes also creative balance.
wijld:
Do you have art at home?
SMUCK:
I have 2 amazing prints with autopgraphs by Pat Perry that I love a lot. Besides I prefer having a rather minimalistic furnishings. You can find rather small, illustrative pieces from design markets.
wijld:
You have a weakness for what?
SMUCK:
design, fashion, music, pasta, sport, sun, life.
wijld:
What city would you say inspires you?
SMUCK:
Copenhagen. I love this city. Up to now I always had a great time there. My work is very influenced by Scandinavia as I always used to take a lot of input with me in design and fashion matters.
wijld:
And what really annoys you?
SMUCK:
Waiting! I’m terribly impatient.
