Boxer shorts made of wood – sustainable can be so comfortable

Our sustainable boxer shorts are particularly soft and breathable because the fibers have a very smooth surface that avoids friction and is comfortable to wear. The lyocell fibers we use are obtained from the cellulose of wood in an environmentally friendly process and have naturally antibacterial properties that prevent odors and keep wooden clothing fresher for longer.

Environmentally friendly boxer shorts & briefs for men – fairly manufactured in Portugal

Since our company was founded in 2015, we have been producing sustainable, long-lasting and timeless fashion. We are not only concerned with using resources sparingly, but also with ensuring fair working conditions for the people who sew our men's boxer shorts, for example. Our production takes place in Portugal, more precisely north of Porto, where all production steps take place in the immediate vicinity and fair working conditions prevail.

How sustainable are men's underpants made of wood?

The production of our men's underwear from wood is very environmentally friendly. Wood is a domestic raw material that is converted into lyocell fibers by extracting cellulose and using organic solvents. Compared to the production of boxer shorts from cotton, we save around 50% CO2 and a lot of water when using lyocell fibers. The latter is because growing cotton is very water-intensive; in contrast, sustainable forestry does not require artificial irrigation.
