With every order on wijld.com, we protect a piece of forest. To this end, in 2022 we purchased a forest plot in the Sauerland region that had been damaged by climate change and no longer had a single tree standing.
We are reforesting this area so that a young, species-rich forest can grow here and an ecologically valuable habitat can develop.

We planted a wide variety of tree species, including hornbeam, oak, cherry, and ash. The
lunar landscape is gradually disappearing, and a new forest is slowly beginning to grow.

It is important to us to raise awareness of the impacts of the climate crisis and, above all, to provide help locally. We would like to show and make tangible how important the forest ecosystem is for the climate.
With a forest sponsorship, you help us reforest a section of forest in the Sauerland that has been destroyed by climate change, so that a biodiverse and ecologically valuable forest can grow there again.
