With every order on wijld.com, we protect a piece of forest. To achieve this, in 2022 we purchased a section of forest in the Sauerland that had been damaged by climate change and where not a single tree remained.
We are reforesting this area so that a young, species-rich forest can grow here and an ecologically valuable habitat can develop.

Together with our community and students, we have already planted around 10,000 trees in the Sauerland region.
We planted a wide variety of tree species, including hornbeam, oak, cherry, and ash. The
lunar landscape is gradually disappearing, and little by little, a new forest is beginning to grow.
