With every order on wijld.com, we protect a piece of forest. For this purpose, in 2022 we bought a forest area in the Sauerland that had been damaged by climate change, where not a single tree was left standing.
We are reforesting this area so that a young, species-rich forest can grow here and an ecologically valuable habitat can be created.

Together with our community and pupils, we have already planted around 10,000 trees in the Sauerland.
Various types of trees were planted, such as hornbeam, oak, cherry, or ash. The lunar landscape is gradually disappearing, and very slowly a new forest begins to grow.

For us, it is important to draw attention to the effects of the climate crisis and above all to help locally. We would like to show and make tangible how important the forest ecosystem is for the climate.
With a forest sponsorship, you help to reforest a woodland area in the Sauerland that has been destroyed by climate change together with us, so that a species-rich and ecologically valuable forest can grow there again.
