Our sustainable pair is made from 1.5 kilos of wood and some organic cotton. The combination of these two materials creates a very pleasantly soft fabric that also surprises with unique properties. The heavy sweatshirt fabric is breathable and has antibacterial as well as temperature-regulating effects. This is thanks to the special fibers made from wood, which can absorb moisture very quickly and release it again.

Why are our sweatpants made from wood so environmentally friendly?

The wood for our men's sweatpants comes from sustainable forestry.

This raw material is not only locally available but also environmentally friendly because it avoids long transport routes. The cellulose is extracted from the wood and then processed into lyocell fibers using an organic solvent, which are later spun into yarn. Compared to cotton, this process reduces CO2 emissions by about 75%, starting from the field or forest to fiber production.

In addition, our sweatpants help save a lot of water. A single pair of sweatpants made from wood saves about 4000 liters of water compared to a conventional cotton pair.
