Sustainable sports socks for women in various shapes and colors with incomparable comfort.
Sustainable sports socks are an important part of every athlete's equipment, as they not only increase comfort but can also prevent injuries and pressure sores.
Our specially crafted wooden sports socks from wijld include all the benefits that a sports sock already offers plus the following:
-
No unpleasant smells:
Our women's sports socks stay fresher longer because bacterial growth is inhibited. Comparing synthetic materials, cotton, and our wood fiber, we find that synthetic materials exhibit 100 to 1,000 times greater bacterial growth, and even on cotton, growth is still 10 times higher than on our wood-derived fabric.
-
Perfect ventilation:
Our wooden sports socks can absorb moisture much faster than cotton or polyester. The maximum absorbency within 20 seconds for wood fibers is an impressive 380%, while for cotton and polyester it's just 16 to 19%.
-
Exceptional comfort: The wood fibers of our sustainable sports socks have a particularly skin-friendly and smooth surface that flatters the skin rather than irritating it. In short, there's less friction on the skin, making wooden clothing feel like a second skin.
Fairness in sport and fairness in the production of sustainable sports socks for women
No matter what sport you pursue or what purpose you choose our sustainable women's sports socks for , they won't let you down in terms of comfort or durability. In addition to the athletic motivation, sustainable manufacturing should always be an important consideration when choosing your sports equipment. Because it's important to us that fairness isn't just important in sports, but also in the production of individual sporting goods.
That's why, as with our other collections, we considered sustainable manufacturing just as important as the quality of the environmentally friendly sports socks that ultimately came out of production.
How you can help save water by buying our sports socks
Just one pair of sustainable socks saves you several hundred liters of water compared to other cotton socks. This is partly due to efficient manufacturing, but also because, unlike cotton, trees don't need to be artificially irrigated, which requires a lot of water to grow.
