This makes our clothing very eco-friendly, as this raw material also grows in our region, significantly shortening transport routes. Additionally, water consumption is greatly reduced, and harmful chemicals such as fertilizers or pesticides can be completely avoided. From 2015 to 2021, we planted a tree in Mexico for every order on wijld.com together with a partner organization.

Since 2022, we have launched our own small reforestation project and are restoring a forest area in Sauerland that was destroyed by climate change. This way, we can not only engage locally but also make the topic of forests much more tangible and plant trees on-site together with customers or school classes. Additionally, we can better document how our forest develops and show how important conscious interaction with nature is.
