With a forest sponsorship, you help us reforest an area of woodland in the Sauerland that was destroyed by climate change. In 2022, we bought an area of more than 81,000 m² near Marsberg and now want to restore it to its natural state piece by piece, so that a biodiverse and ecologically valuable forest can grow there again.

It’s important to us to raise awareness of the impacts of the climate crisis and, above all, to help locally. We’d love to show and help people experience just how important the forest ecosystem is for the climate. That’s why we’ve decided to help our local forests and support the reforestation of the “moonscapes” that human-caused climate change has created in many places.

We started with our first future forest in Sauerland: Waldemar! That’s what we named him together with you, and with every order on www.wijld.com, you automatically protect a small part of Waldemar. With a forest sponsorship, you can make an even bigger difference and decide for yourself how much land you want to protect for the future.
