BECOME A FOREST GODPARENT

With a forest sponsorship, you help us reforest a forest area in Sauerland that has been destroyed by climate change. In 2022, we purchased an area of over 81,000 m² near Marsberg and now want to restore it piece by piece so that a species-rich and ecologically valuable forest can grow again.

SAVE WALDEMAR! – OUR REFORESTATION PROJECT IN THE SAUERLAND

For us, it is important to raise awareness about the impacts of the climate crisis and especially to help regionally. We would like to show and make tangible how important the forest ecosystem is for the climate. That is why we have decided to help our local forests and want to support reforesting the "moon landscapes" that have appeared in many places due to human-caused climate change.

Starting with our first future forest in Sauerland: Waldemar! That’s what we named it together with you, and with every order on www.wijld.com, you automatically protect a small piece of Waldemar. Through a forest sponsorship, you can even make a bigger impact and freely decide how much area you personally want to safeguard for the future.

BECOME A FOREST SPONSOR NOW

Plant a piece of forest with us in Sauerland and help to green Waldemar.

Together with our community and students, we have already planted around 10,000 trees in the Sauerland region. Various types of trees have been planted, such as hornbeam, oak, cherry, and ash.
