Wood is a local raw material that is transformed into lyocell fibers by extracting cellulose and using organic solvents. Compared to the production of Boxer shorts By using lyocell fibers instead of cotton, we save about 50% CO2 and a lot of water. The latter is because cotton cultivation is very water-intensive, whereas sustainable forestry requires no artificial irrigation.
