The lyocell fibers we use are made from wood cellulose using an environmentally friendly process and naturally have antibacterial properties that help prevent odors, keeping clothing made from wood fresher for longer.

Our production takes place in Portugal, more precisely north of Porto, where all production steps take place close together and fair working conditions are in place.

How sustainable is men's underwear made from wood?

Our men's underwear made from wood is manufactured in a very environmentally friendly way. Wood is a local raw material that is transformed into lyocell fibers by extracting cellulose and using organic solvents. Compared with making boxer shorts from cotton, using lyocell fibers saves around 50% of CO2 and a great deal of water. This is because growing cotton requires a lot of water, whereas sustainable forestry requires no artificial irrigation.
