Men’s cardigan made from wood - how sustainable can it be?
Using wood as a raw material lets us rely on a local resource. To make a usable fabric from wood fibers, cellulose is first extracted and used to produce lyocell fibers, which are later spun into yarn. Compared to producing cotton fabrics, using lyocell can save around 75% in CO2 emissions across all stages of production, from harvesting in fields or forests to the final fiber.
