Continue shoppingFace masks, to protect ourselves and our fellow human beings, have become an indispensable part of our everyday lives. Before that, face masks were known in everyday life only from Asia, but since COVID-19 they have also become our daily companions.
Our wood-based face masks cannot replace a medical or FFP2 mask, but they can still protect you from viruses and external influences and perhaps make you feel safer in one or another “close” situation.
Twin-pack face masks – We want to help during the crisis
When COVID-19 entered our lives in 2020 and turned everything upside down, we relatively quickly converted part of our production to manufacture face masks.
We donate the proceeds from sales to a nonprofit organization in the healthcare sector.
Our sustainable wood-based face masks have the following features:
-
A twin pack contains two face masks
-
The masks have an elastic band that goes around the ears
-
67% Lyocell (wood fiber from sustainable forestry) & 33% organic cotton
-
Double-layered construction & washable at 60°C
Wash sustainably – here's how!
Not only when washing your clothes, but also in everyday life, you should pay attention to how much laundry you really need to wash per day or per week and which adjustments you can make so that you can save resources sustainably while doing your laundry and help the environment.
-
Fewer wash cycles – not every garment needs to go straight into the washing machine after the first or second wear
-
Wash at low temperatures – a 30 or 40°C machine cycle is usually more than sufficient
-
You can easily make your own detergent or switch to organic detergent.
-
Avoid fabric softener – this is particularly harmful to our wood-based clothing, as they can quickly stretch out and lose their shape
-
Avoid home remedies – the washing machine does not need to be turned on immediately for every small stain
