Multifunctional cloths do good: Sustainable production under fair working conditions:
Our production of multifunctional cloths from wood is particularly environmentally friendly because we use wood as a local raw material. Cellulose is extracted and organic solvents are used to convert it into lyocell fibers. Compared to the production of multifunctional cloths from cotton, using lyocell fibers saves us approximately 50% CO2 and a significant amount of water. This is because cotton cultivation is very water-intensive, whereas sustainable forestry does not require artificial irrigation.
