Our basics made from wood have a skin-friendly, smooth surface that feels gentle against the skin instead of irritating it. Thanks to their silky-soft fibers, our basics feel like a second skin.

Lyocell fibers are so gentle on the skin that, in a study conducted by Heidelberg University Hospital, over 80% of participants said that wearing basics made from wood had significantly improved the appearance of their skin.

How comfortable we feel in our clothing largely depends on how breathable the fabric is. In particular, clothing worn directly against the body must transport moisture quickly to ensure a comfortable skin climate.
The special nanostructure of wood-based fibers ensures that moisture is transported quickly and absorbed within the fibers. It therefore contributes to thermoregulation by enabling optimal evaporation at the fabric surface through a homogeneous distribution of moisture.
Why our wooden basics stay fresh longer! They inhibit bacterial growth; more specifically, they absorb sweat very quickly and deprive bacteria of their breeding ground.
That’s why our clothing has 100 to 1,000 times less bacterial growth compared with clothing made from synthetic materials.
