With every order on wijld.com, we protect a piece of forest. In 2022, we bought a forest area in Sauerland that was damaged by climate change, where not a single tree was left.
We are reforesting this area so that a young, species-rich forest can grow here and an ecologically valuable habitat can be created.

Together with our community and students, we have already planted around 10,000 trees in the Sauerland region.
Various types of trees were planted, such as hornbeam, oak, cherry, and ash. The lunar landscape is gradually disappearing, and very slowly a new forest is beginning to grow.

For us, it is important to raise awareness about the impacts of the climate crisis and, above all, to help regionally. We would like to show and make tangible how important the forest ecosystem is for the climate.
